How 15 Tools Happened

Over the past couple years, I've built and launched 15 free tools for SEO, social media, business planning, and creative work. They live at digitaljesse.com/tools and they're all completely free. No accounts, no trials, no credit card. Just paste a URL and get answers.

I didn't set out to build a tool suite. I had a problem, I built a thing to solve it, and then I had another problem. One tool led to the next, and now there are 15 of them covering everything from internal link auditing to OG image generation to freelance rate calculation.

SEO Tools

Internal Link Finder crawls your site and finds pages that should link to each other but don't. Gives you specific anchor text suggestions with relevance scoring. Anyone with more than 10 published posts has gaps. Read the guide.

Topical Authority Map visualizes your content clusters as an interactive graph. Shows which topics you cover deeply, where the gaps are, and which pages are orphaned. Read the guide.

Thin Content Detector scans your site and flags pages with low word counts. Each page gets a severity rating with H1 status, meta description status, and heading count. Read the guide.

Keyword Cannibalization Checker finds pages on your site that compete for the same keywords. When two of your pages target the same term, neither ranks as well as it could.

OG Image Generator has two modes: preview mode shows how any URL looks when shared on social platforms, and generator mode creates custom OG images from 13 templates. Read the guide.

Affiliate Opportunity Finder scans your content for brand mentions and matches them to affiliate programs with commission rates and signup links. Read the guide.

Social Media Tools

Page to Social Posts takes any URL and generates ready-to-post content for Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Threads. Multiple snippet types per platform. Read the guide.

Link in Bio Builder is a drag-and-drop builder for link-in-bio pages. 10 templates, full customization, HTML export. No monthly fees. Read the guide.

Business Tools

Profit Margin Calculator compares real platform fees across Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, eBay, TikTok Shop, and Walmart. Shows your actual profit per sale on each platform side by side. Read the guide.

Freelance Rate Calculator works backward from your desired income to calculate hourly, daily, weekly, and project rates. Accounts for expenses, time off, and billable hours. Read the guide.

How the Tools Connect

These tools aren't isolated. They work together as a content operations workflow:

  • Write a blog post. Run the Thin Content Detector to make sure it's substantial enough.
  • Run the Topical Authority Map to see how it fits into your content clusters.
  • Use the Internal Link Finder to connect it to existing content.
  • Generate an OG image so it looks good when shared.
  • Create social posts with Page to Social Posts.
  • Update your Link in Bio to point to the new content.
  • Check for affiliate opportunities in the post.

The Principles Behind Every Tool

Every tool follows the same rules:

  • Free, no strings. No trials, no freemium limits. I built these for my own sites and opened them up.
  • No accounts. No signup, no login, no email required.
  • No data storage. Your URLs, content, and results are not saved anywhere.
  • Actionable output. Copy-ready HTML, exportable CSVs, downloadable images. Not just scores, but actual deliverables.
  • Built from real problems. Every tool started with a specific problem I ran into while managing my own e-commerce sites, content strategy, or client work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. No exceptions, no hidden limits, no paywalls. I don't run ads on the tool pages either. Every tool in the full suite works the same way: open it, use it, get your results. No account needed.

No. Across all 15 tools, nothing is stored on any server. URLs, page content, generated images, social posts, and analysis results all exist only during your browser session. Close the tab and everything is gone. I built them this way on purpose because I don't want to manage anyone's data.

Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Some tools use D3.js for data visualization (like the Topical Authority Map). The AI-powered Page to Social Posts tool uses Google Gemini for content generation. Everything runs on Vercel.

Yes. Use the contact page. If it solves a real problem I've seen come up more than once, I'll probably build it. Most of these tools started as something I needed for my own sites and turned into standalone tools other people could use.

I don't, directly. The tools drive organic traffic to my site, show potential employers and clients what I can build, and give me something concrete to point to in interviews and proposals. That's more valuable than charging $10/month per user. The Internal Link Finder alone brings in consistent search traffic every month.
